Starting a remote internship at Caracal Products & Services was an experience for me. I was lucky to join the marketing team, and right away I had the opportunity to work on projects that were interesting and fun to be part of. Even though we were working remotely, my team was always available to check in, answer questions, and involve me in real, impactful work.

One thing I really appreciated about Caracal was how much the company sticks to its values. Everyone I interacted with showed so much professionalism, creativity, and kindness. You could tell they really cared about their work and about helping each other succeed. It was not about getting tasks done — it was about doing them well, together.

During the internship, I learned how to manage my time, stay organized without someone looking over my shoulder, and communicate professionally online. I also received first-hand experience to better understand how a business operates; especially how important teamwork and planning are when launching projects or building something new. The people at Caracal made me feel like I was part of the team, not just an intern. They gave me the space to grow, ask questions, and challenge myself, which really boosted my confidence.

Looking back, this internship gave me so much more than just experience to put on my resume. It helped me figure out what kind of work I enjoy, how I want to show up in a professional setting, and what kind of team I want to be part of in the future. I am so grateful to have started my journey with Caracal, and I will always carry the lessons I learned here as I move forward in my career.
