DETROIT (April 2025) — Caracal Products & Services, a leading supplier of goods and services to large businesses and organizations nationwide, has donated $5,000 to Hebron VA Inc, a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating and empowering women from underserved communities.
The donation will support Hebron’s mission to foster personal growth, reduce barriers to education, and create a sense of community for young women.
“Caracal understands the importance of community, and Hebron embodies everything we want to see in a partner working to create opportunities for women,” said Rebecca Miller, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Caracal Products & Services. “Caracal is proud to support their work, which aligns perfectly with our mission to empower communities and foster economic growth.”
A nonprofit organization based in Petersburg, Virginia, Hebron VA, Inc. was established in 2015. It aims to reduce vulnerabilities for young women such as academic failure, school expulsions, suspensions, crime, teen pregnancy, dropout rates, and juvenile justice involvement. According to research, girls who experience community violence are at greater risk; therefore, Hebron felt obligated to expand the supports it provides to female youth to include young males in its programs when school is not in session. Caracal’s donation will be leveraged to enhance opportunities and allow the organization to reach more young people within the community.
“Because of Caracal’s support, we have the opportunity to help more youth in our community continue their journey toward personal growth and development,” said Janell Sinclair, Executive Director and Founder at Hebron VA, Inc. “It is donations like these that equip us to continue our work and make a real impact on the ground in our communities.”
This donation is just one way that Caracal fulfills its commitment to creating opportunities for all people and supporting organizations that make a meaningful difference in their communities.
